Dear Folks:
In December 2006, my wife Nila and I purchased a home thru your organization we used Realtor, Shelly Crane. What a professional young woman she is. Shelly took the time to insure all questions we had were answered in a timely and professional manner. I told Shelly right from the start that there were twelve things I required and that only one of them was negotiable, this is what I wanted. #1, the price must fall within $3,500 of the stated amount of my offer and I was not willing to move up any, however, coming down was a different story. #2, the house we were to buy must be within 50 miles of Fort Riley. #3, the home must have enough room to add an additional two car garage. #4, the home must have enough space to provide parking for my motor home. #5, the home must have and I repeat must have many cabinets in the kitchen and dining room. #7, the home must have at least 3 bedrooms. #8, the home must have two baths. #9, the home must have a two car garage attached to the house as a part of the permanent dwelling. #10, the home must have a yard large enough for my grandchildren to play in. The city we purchased in could not have any city ordinances that precluded me from having a chain link fence installed. #11, must be a corner lot. #12, a basement: that was negotiable, but only if I had enough room to install a small storm shelter.
Shelly smiled a little and said let's get looking. (I can only imagine what was going thru her mind.) I would imagine we looked at 50 to 75 homes. We were all over South Central Kansas. Never once did she complain about such a demanding customer. Her only comment was don't waste my time and your time, if you don't like it tell me when we first walk in then we will keep moving. (My kind of employee). Finally, we found a home in Lincolnville. When we walked in the door, my wife state, "I've got to have this house". The price was within $2,000 of my offer, it is 48 miles from the Washington street main gate in Fort Riley, the storage building has been built, my motor home presently is parked and plugged into the north side of my home, Lincolnville has approx. 1,000 people including cats and dogs, both cars are presently in the attached garage, the backyard has a brand new fence, and we have a corner lot. Shelly also made sure I went thru the most beautifully finished basement I have ever seen. We have everything I requested.
Folks, I know this is a long letter and most people don't like to read long letters since they are time consuming. However, I would be remissed if I didn't mention everything this fine young energetic lady provided us with, while showing us all the beautiful homes in South Central Kansas. Shelly is a true professional. She is dedicated to her customers and extremely loyal to her employer. With Shelly; integrity is non negotiable. Nila and I consider her apart of our family. I strongly recommend her to anyone wishing to purchase a home. We love our new home. ---- Dennis & Nila Burch

From the first time we contacted Shelly, we knew we had someone who was going to be working for us. She listened to what we wanted and went to work to find it. We felt like we had access to her at all times. Whenever we called with questions, if she didn't know the answer, she would find it out and get back with us. Shelly helped from start to finish, she kept the ball rolling in a sometimes very slow process. You will not find someone that is going to work harder for you than Shelly Crane. We honestly feel not only did we find the right Real Estate agent for us but we truly made our first real friend in our new community. ----- Bill & Doreen Landau

By far, I would have to say the best thing about having you as our Realtor was knowing that you were aware of all the details that would have to be taken care of, and then you took care of them. I had never sold a proerty before and had no idea what would be involved, but it was very obvious from the start that you would be taking care of everything for me and all I had to do was leave things in your hands. Since we had so much work to do getting the house ready to sell, it was a great relief to be able to turn everything else over to you. The fact that the purchase of our home went so smoothly without a single hitch proves that our trust in you was completely justified.
Also, we truly appreciate how hard you worked to sell our home. In fact, you had it sold on the very day we were ready to put the house on the market. So it was obvious that you had been looking for buyers from our very first contact with you.
Sincerely, Michelle Kopfer
